This year\u2019s cohort features winners from 39 countries, with 26 based in Africa, underscoring the continent\u2019s growing leadership in social innovation and enterprise for good.<\/p><p>Chosen from over 900 nominations across 86 countries, the winners were evaluated by an international judging panel that included representatives from Google, Mastercard, Unilever, Temasek, SAP, and the World Economic Forum. Honourees will receive access to investment opportunities, capacity-building support, and pro bono services from partners including EY, Hogan Lovells, Forster Communications, Green Frontier Capital, Kenya Climate Ventures, and The Portman Estate.<\/p><p>Reflecting on her experience as a judge, Simi Nwogugu said:<\/p><p>\u201cI was especially proud to learn about the work of these amazing African social entrepreneurs who are committed to seeing challenges as opportunities for entrepreneurial success. At JA Africa, we believe that the problems of Africa are best solved by Africans who understand the context and have access to resources that enable them to design and scale homegrown solutions. These winners validate that belief and serve as role models for the millions of young people we reach annually.\u201d<\/p><p>Africa\u2019s Growing Footprint in Impact Leadership<\/p><p>The 2025 MB100 winners illustrate how Africa\u2019s innovators are redefining enterprise through purpose and resilience. From clean water access to sustainable agriculture and digital inclusion, the 26 Africa-based honourees represent the ingenuity driving the continent\u2019s transformation.<\/p><p>For JA Africa, this recognition aligns with our mission to prepare young Africans for future leadership through entrepreneurship education, financial literacy, and work readiness programmes.
