JA (Junior Achievement) Africa<\/a> is a member of JA Worldwide, one of the world\u2019s largest youth serving NGOs. JA \u2018s mission is to prepare youth for the future of jobs. Through the delivery of hands-on, blended learning in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship, we empower young people to grow their entrepreneurial ideas, hone their work skills, manage their earnings, and secure better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2021, JA Africa partnered with the Tomorrow Foundation to translate its first digital program; JA Digital Entrepreneurship Program (JA DEEP) into French. This online-based interactive entrepreneurship curriculum was created for young African learners, including those who live in countries or go to schools where JA is not present. The focus is now to also make it accessible to Francophone countries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JA DEEP builds on JA\u2019s existing entrepreneurship programs (JA Company Program and JA ITS TYME) in an online format that teaches the same principles in an engaging and fun way. JA DEEP also builds digital literacy skills in young people as they explore entrepreneurship opportunities where technology can help solve problems within their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Purpose of this call <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

JA Africa is seeking experienced translators to translate the online content for the JA Digital Entrepreneurship Program (JA DEEP) from English to French, for use by its francophone Member Nations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proposals are welcomed from translation companies or consortia, as well as from individual candidates specialized in translation of texts from English to French. The preferred suppliers will have experience in translating texts such as curricula, training decks, and capacity-building materials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experience in translating texts relating to entrepreneurship, educational web platforms and youth is a plus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
