As a member of the Global Markets team, she is responsible for engaging and building the Group’s strategic stakeholder network with governments, private sector, academia, NGOs and civil society.<\/span><\/p>\n Ms. Dajani started her career in advertising at Young & Rubicam. As a Strategic Planner, she defined B2B and B2C marketing and communication strategies, as well as managed consulting projects in various areas such as brand positioning, business partnerships, licensing, internal communications. She was also involved in pitching to prospects and new business development. The clients she covered ranged from multinational companies in various industries to international organizations with headquarters in Geneva.<\/span><\/p>\n Ms. Dajani holds an MSc. in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics and a MSc. in Social Psychology from the University of Geneva.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe are excited to have Shireen join the Board to represent The Abraaj Group,\u201d said Elizabeth Bintliff, CEO of JA Africa. \u201cThe Abraaj Group has been and long and strong supporter of JA’s work in Africa. \n<\/span>Prior to joining Abraaj, Ms. Dajani worked at the World Economic Forum (WEF), managing accounts with global partner companies in the media, consumer, healthcare and financial services industries. Her role involved connecting decision makers with key experts, public figures, entrepreneurs and academics across all regions and industries. More broadly, she was responsible for developing and maintaining senior-level engagement from the private sector in key initiatives and projects of the WEF, with a focus on influencing the Middle East regional agenda. She graduated from the WEF\u2019s Global Leadership Fellows program with a Masters in Global Leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n
