JA Africa is proud to have collaborated with a number of leading organizations from a variety of sectors. Along with our partners, we aim to strengthen youth entrepreneurial ecosystems across Africa, inspire collaboration between stakeholders, and support young people as they prepare to enter the workforce.

In recognition of our expertise and experience, JA Africa was awarded the UN King Hamad Youth Enablers Award to achieve the SDGs in 2019.

Citi<\/h3>

The Citi and Citi Foundation partnership with Junior Achievement (JA) dates back to 1986; nearly three-decades of engagement across more than 50 countries. Since 2015, the Citi Foundation has invested $2.1 million in Junior Achievement across Africa as part of Pathways to Progress, the Foundation\u2019s global effort to prepare urban youth to thrive in today\u2019s economy. In addition, around 350 Citi staff are involved in volunteering to support delivery of JA programs in Africa, including a number of Citi Country Officers and Bank Heads who sit on JA Country Boards.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Delta Arilines<\/h3>

Delta Air Lines has been a proud partner of Junior Achievement\u2019s work many years in a number of markets around the globe. In 2017, Delta Air Lines strengthened its commitment to education by expanding its partnership to Junior Achievement Africa. Over $100,000 has been invested in JA Africa\u2019s initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa around youth economic empowerment. Over the two years of the Delta and JA Africa partnership, together we have reached more than 500 secondary school and university students with the support of 15 Delta employees. With the programs that we support \u2013 Innovation Camps and the JA Company Program - we want to encourage students to embrace critical thinking, social innovation and entrepreneurship to tackle societal challenges. We believe that by doing so they will gain important skills required in any job or business.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Tomorrow Foundation<\/h3>

The Tomorrow Foundation began funding JA\u2019s programs in 2018 as a sponsor of the annual Company of the Year competition. The Foundation expanded its commitment in 2019 through a three year, $300,000 grant to fund the Company Program in Ghana, Gabon and as a founding funder of JA Cote d\u2019Ivoire.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

PMEIF<\/h3>

PMI Educational Foundation (PMIEF) is a 501(c)(3) supporting organization of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the world\u2019s leading not-for-profit professional membership association for those who consider project, program, or portfolio management their profession. In April 2020, JA Africa received a $1 million grant from PMIEF to further amplify and sustain PMIEF\u2019s global impact by integrating project management into programming for youth, ages 5 to 19. The SOL foundation<\/h3>

The SOL Foundation partnership with JA Africa began in March 2019 with a grant award to implement the Sports for Skills and Enterprise project, which aims to reach young football- players between the ages of 15 and 25 from difficult\/socially marginalized backgrounds living in the urban and peri-urban communities in Johannesburg, South Africa, Lusaka, Zambia and Harare, Zimbabwe.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Facebook<\/h3>

Facebook is a JA partner and sponsor of the Company of the Year Competition for out of school youth.
