The Eswatini International Trade Fair, Eswatini’s biggest trade show, was held from August 30th to September 8th and showcased over 250 exhibitors, among them 40 young JA Eswatini alumni. These talented entrepreneurs leveraged the theme “Accelerating Business Growth Through Digital Transformation” to present their innovative products and services. The fair not only provided a platform for these young business minds to showcase their ideas but also allowed them to network with industry leaders and potential investors.

A highlight of the event was the visit from His Excellency Russell Dlamini, the Prime Minister of Eswatini, who spent a significant amount of time—30 minutes—at the JA alumni stalls. Accompanied by top government officials from the Ministry of Commerce and the Prime Minister’s office, the Prime Minister engaged deeply with the alumni, discussing ways to enhance their business positioning for international markets. His insights and advice offered these young entrepreneurs valuable perspectives on expanding their reach beyond local markets.
The generous support of UNFPA, which supported 12 stalls at the Eswatini International Trade Fair, enabled the young entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses.
