Junior Achievement (JA) Africa is delighted to announce a significant transition in our leadership. After six impactful years, Charles Olumuyiwa Moyela has concluded his tenure as board chair. Growth, impact, resilience, strategic partnerships and alliances, and the leadership, vision, and dedication of Board Members have been the defining hallmarks of JA Africa over the years. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Charles for his dedicated leadership and unwavering commitment to Africa’s youth.

As we celebrate Charles’ legacy, we are equally excited to welcome Janet Thiongo as the incoming Chair of the JA Africa Board. Janet is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in governance, strategic development, and youth empowerment across Africa. Her passion for advancing equitable education and fostering sustainable economic opportunities aligns perfectly with JA Africa’s vision and mission.
In her new role, Janet is committed to driving forward JA Africa’s strategic initiatives, amplifying our impact across the continent, and ensuring that young Africans are well-equipped with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in the global economy.
